Autism?

Hi!
Usually I only post once a fortnight because of study and extracurricular and things, but I have found a few things that I think need sharing.
I follow a really amazing facebook page called "Asperges Syndrome Awareness", and I would highly recommend anyone with facebook like and follow this page. Even as someone with an autistic sibling, I find myself learning so much about my brother just by seeing their posts.
The first thing I want to show you I think is something everyone should see.
This image states the "Characteristics of Asperges." Now, my brother wasn't diagnosed until he was 2, and this is usually the case with autism and asperges. However, some people are not until their teens, and some are never diagnosed. These people do not get the support that they or their families need. Of course, this list does not state every characteristic of autism, but if you have a family member with these signs and symptoms, talk to a parent or trusted adult about what you believe. Like calling 000, it is better to be safe than sorry. You could really be making a difference in someone's life.

Like I said earlier, I think everyone should see this. Again, if you feel these characteristics relate to your family member, tell someone! If you do not feel comfortable doing this just based on one list, do further research. Just googling "autism" and "what is autism like" really opened my eyes as to my brother's personality type and his little idiosyncresies.
The second item I want to share with you is from the same facebook page (I told you, it's brilliant!) I don't even have any words to describe this video. Just click this link and enjoy... https://www.facebook.com/Upworthy/videos/1185660188141504/
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this quick little mid-fortnight post!
Love,
E.
